A New Concept For Sunday School
1) A Glance at the Team Bible Study Concept...
Our objective is to fully staff every adult class with a leadership TEAM. Our goal is to actively send out new teams of 4 to begin new units.
TEACHING--communicate the truths of the Bible in a way that is creative, doctrinally sound, relevant, and applicable.
Teacher, Co-Teacher
EVANGELISM--primary focus is on outreach and evangelism, while providing a link between the EE ministry and their class.
EE Trainer, EE Associate Trainer
ADMINISTRATION--provide organization for the class through record keeping, delegation, good communication, and the identification of gifts/abilities of class members.
Team Manager, Fellowship Leader
MINISTRY--primary focus in on inreach and nurturing class members that are already enrolled.
Care Leader, Prayer Leader
2) Setting the P.A.C.E.--Four Keys To Success...
Prayer--must
be at the center of everything we do in TBS
Accountability--of TBS Leadership and their
responsibilities
Contacts--both inreach and outreach on a weekly
basis
Enrollment--of prospects on a weekly basis
3) TBS Expectations...
As we look to "RAISE THE BAR" in our TEAM Bible Study ministry, the following will be expected and needed from ALL TBS Leadership...
*To commit yourself to one year of service in the TBS ministry of Greenbrier Road Baptist Church.
*To maintain a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This includes regular and consistent time in prayer, Bible study and personal worship.
*To be an active participant in weekly worship services at GRBC.
*To be a team player with other adults and staff in leadership positions.
*To fulfill your responsibilities as a TBS worker according to the job description provided for you.
*To commit to follow and comply with GRBC's Team Bible Study policies.
(attendance, contacts, TBS meetings, training/development, fellowships, building usage, etc.)
*To conduct yourself in a way that would honor Christ and be representative of His example.
*To maintain a high moral, ethical, and spiritual example for those individuals in your class/department.
*To be willing to be held accountable in the areas mentioned above.
