Women's Ministry

Name of our Ministry -- SIS - Sisters in Service

Ministry Verse -- "For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of
the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to
                                God."  II Corinthians 9:12

The Women's Ministry at GRBC, (SIS), is a ministry for any woman. We have a program for Secret Sisters who use this time to secretly lift up, minister to, and encourage their Secret Sister. Secret Sisters are revealed at a tea at the end of the designated time. This has proven to be an enjoyable time for all.

We have Bible studies throughout the year. We have studied Beth Moore and are about to begin a Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer entitled "He Speaks to Me". We feel that our ministry is to help women grow in their faith and learn to have a closer walk with the Lord.

Quarterly, we have a women's brunch at the church in the Garden Room. This is a time of fellowship, food and Bible study.

The Women's Ministry supports our Mission offerings and helps in promoting the needs of our missionaries here at home and abroad. Missions are very important and should be supported by each church member.

We invite every woman to be a part of this ministry and would love to get to know each woman that is a member of GRBC and their friends who are not a member of the GRBC family. We know that we have a responsibility to meet the needs of others and share the gospel of Christ to all that we come in contact with.
