"The Walk of a Godly Graduate"
Ephesians 1:15-21
In verse 17 it tells us that God waits for us. We need to know what it is God is calling us to do with our lives. We need to take time and spend with God to find our calling.

I.    It is a  knowing  walk. (vs. 18a)

This verse says "...the eyes of your understanding...is the hope of His calling..."
"understanding" means deep thought. We must have deep thoughts when we are alone with God
"enlightened"--to shed rays; to shine or to brighten

Deep thoughts are there within us, but maybe the light has not been shed on it yet. We need to
spend time with God to have the light turned on by God.
We have shallow lives in darkness.
"to know"--to see or be aware; visualize beyond difficulties
            "hope"--expectation or confidence
We can be anything that God has called us to be.
"calling"--invitation; what He has invited us to be in life.

**Salvation--Know your salvation and that your are in Him.
**Surrender--Invitation for all to surrender to His will in our lives.
**Service--God will complete in your life what He has invited you to do.

II.    It is a  showing  walk. (vs. 18b)

            "riches"--abundance; valuable bestowments
            "glory"--dignity; honor; praise
            "inheritance"--possessions and investment in us
The Lord Jesus has an inheritance through us. We are to leave something behind for Him.
We should leave behind that we gave a faithful life.

III.    It is a  blowing  walk. (vs. 19)

"blowing"--first time power is used; this is where we get the word dynamite from
            "exceeding"--throw beyond the usual work
There is a standard mark and God promises to throw us further than the standard or the usual.

God wants to do miracles in our lives.
If God rules in our lives, then He will perform miracles.
            God has dominion.

At the end of our lives, we ask, HAVE WE DONE ALL WE COULD DO?
