"Protect the Innocent"
Psalm 139:13-16

I.    I want us to see the molding of mankind. Psalm 139:13-16


        A.    Verse 13--

                Reins or inward parts
                         Reins means kidney and is a part that we cannot live without.
                         God controls all that I am.  

                Covered--this means to knit          
               

        B.    Verse 14--

                Fearfully means to revere. God formed us to praise Him and to revere Him.

                Wonderfully--means we are distinguished and we are set apart.

                Marvelous--means to be separated. There is no one else made like us. We are one of a kind.
                            We are separated a second time through salvation.

            AS WE DISREGARD LIFE IN THE WOMB, WE DISREGARD LIFE PERIOD!
 

        C.    Verse 15--

                Substance or frame--This means Power; our makeup; to know.               

                Curiously wrought--variant color--we have been woven together by God uniquely.
 

        D.    Verse 16--

                Substance--Wrapped; not perfect yet; God was putting us together, just as He puts every child
                            together.

                Continuance--This is an ongoing work; when He starts molding us, it never stops; He is still
                            molding us.

                Fashioned--Molding us into a form as a potter molds a pot.

II.    I want us to see the misconception of murder.

                <7% of abortions performed because of rape, incest or endangering the life of the mother.

III.    I want us to see the mind toward the malice. Psalm 139:19-22

                We need to stand strong against the enemies of God.

                The ones that support abortion are enemies of God and we need to stand up for what is right.

        Statistics on Abortion:

                20% of women having abortions are over the age of 20 and are middle class, white females.

                40% of women having an abortion have already had at least 1 other abortion.

                60% of women having an abortion will be having their first abortion.

                75% of women going for an abortion who sees their baby on a sonogram will choose not to abort.

                Since Roe vs. Wade passed, 47 million babies have been aborted.

                Fetal Development

Day 1:
When conception (fertilization) occurs, the baby's features, including sex, hair and eye color, have already been determined.

9 Weeks LMP:
7 weeks after conception
At this age, the baby's heart has been beating for one month and fingers and toes are developed.

10 Weeks LMP:
8 weeks after conception
At 10 weeks, the baby hiccups and reacts to loud noises.

16 Weeks LMP:
14 weeks after conception
At 16 weeks, the baby's gender can be determined by ultrasound.

22 Weeks LMP:
20 weeks after conception
At this age, the baby's eyelashes can be seen and the lungs are developing
