"Free Indeed"
John 8:31-36

Everyone wants freedom.

I.     Freedom is deliverance from  doubt  . (vs. 31a)

Believe means to entrust. To believe on Jesus is to trust Him.
If we do not trust Jesus and the Word of God, then we are in more bondage than anyone.

II.    Freedom is deliverance to  discipleship  . (vs. 31b)

We long for more of the Word. We can read the Bible and actually miss the boat.
Jesus tells us "...You have the Word and the Word has you...you are truly my disciples".

III.    Freedom is deliverance from  deception  . (vs. 32-33)

Most lost people think that they are free. They have been deceived and are bound by the devil.
We will be sure of the Truth and the Truth will set us free. We will no longer be a slave to the
devil and no longer in bondage.

IV.    Freedom is deliverance from  domination of sin in your life  . (vs. 34)

We are either a bond-servant to Christ or a bond-slave to sin.
Those who continue in sin are a slave to sin.
You will sin, but sin will not dominate your life.

V.    Freedom is deliverance from  destruction  . (vs. 35)

Continue in sin, then sin is grabbing the life right out of you and will destroy you.

VI.    Freedom is  definite  . (vs. 36)

The Son will make you free, then you will be free indeed!!
If you are free in Christ, then it does not matter what matter happens in this world.

Freedom in Jesus Christ is free indeed.
Jesus saved us to be His disciples.
We are free to love Him more, long for Him more, study His Word more and just have total
            freedom in our Savior.
