"CPR--Church's Plan for Revival"
II Chronicles 7:14

I.    Three Steps to Administering CPR:

                1) Identify the victim.
                    "If my people which are called by my, name..."--God's People
                    If we think that we never need revival, we are fooling ourselves.

                    The reason the Church does not have revival is because there are too many lost
                        people in the Church.

                    To be revived, we must be alive first. Revival is for the Saved!

                    Are we, God's people or do we just "hang out" with God's people? We don't think we need
                        revival.

                    Will we ever consider that we are personally sick?
                    Revival is for the Church. The ones that are saved but are sick.   
                                                                  
    

                2) Begin to Administer CPR.
                    When we try to clean up our lives, it is nasty.

                    It could be easier to quit than to continue cleaning up our lives:
                       
                        A) We must find our position.
                                We need to bend our knees and humble ourselves before God.
                                We need to show submission and judge ourselves against God's Standard.

                        B) We must find our Prayer Life.
                                Ask God to show us our short comings.

                        C) We must find God's Presence. Seek for God.
                                God's Face is His Presence.
                                Search diligently for God and don't stop until we find Him.                          
                                          
                        D) We must find our place.
                                "turn from our wicked ways..."
                                Some things that we think are good, God thinks are bad.

                3) Allow the Physician to take over.
                    "...will heal their land..."

                     Do what we are supposed to do and God will do what He is supposed to do.

                     If we turn from our wicked ways, then God will--
                       
                        A) Hear us.

                        B) Forgive us.

                        C) Heal our land.

        We need to get our eyes off of the world and get our eyes on Jesus.

        Is it me who needs revival?

            ~Are we a victim of sin? We have to decide this and make that choice.

            ~Are we willing to take CPR with the Holy Spirit guiding or leading us?
