"A Momentary Lapse"
II Kings 5:20-27
 

I.    Gehazi has a lapse in judgment. (vs. 20)
          
            A. He has direction from his superior. (vs. 20a)

            B. He has a desire from his sin nature. (vs. 20b)   
                    Get Spiritual. "Bless the Lord"
                    We think we never have enough. God never promises us this.                 
        

II.    Gehazi offers a lie to justify. (vs. 21-25) 

            A. His lie was rehearsed. (vs. 22)
                    This was not true. He said it without stumbling.

                    If you have to convince yourself to do something, then it is probably wrong.        

III.    Gehazi has a look of guilt. (vs. 24, 26a)
                    It showed all over his face.

IV.    Elisha gives a life long judgment. (vs. 26b, 27)
